Honduras Cielito Lindo

Empresa de Servicios Multiples Cafetalera "Cielito Lindo" is located in Pena Blanca, Cortes, near Yojoa lake and Santa Barbara National Park. They organized as an informal group in 2012 to deal with the problem arising from low market prices and increasing agricultural diseases. Since becoming Fairtrade certified in 2015, the cooperative has been able to secure and protect a water source that supplies many communities in their region, and provide resources for marginalized school children.
