Next time you’re at the store, remember that when you choose to put Fairtrade in your shopping cart, you support the people who grow the food and clothes that you select.

You’re advocating for a better deal for farmers and improving access to training and other benefits like environmentally friendly practices, such as developing nutrient-rich soils that support healthy plants. In fact, over 50% of Fairtrade farmers are also certified organic. That’s because they value organic practices for their own health, the environment and the conservation of biodiversity.

To help you get started, here are 10 Fairtrade and organic ingredients to add to your shopping cart.
