Fairtrade America Impact Report 2019 – 2020

16 September 2021

Fairtrade’s vision is a world in which all producers can enjoy secure and sustainable livelihoods, fulfill their potential, and decide on their future.

Celebrating Our Collective Impact

Sustainable trade is fundamental to this approach, and we are proud to have partnered with companies in the United States to source Fairtrade certified ingredients. In this report, we share key indicators to assess our collective impact to support farmers, workers, and their communities.

While we, collectively, have achieved a lot of over the past year, our vision is ambitious and there is always more than we can do to extend our impact to more vulnerable and volatile markets. That is why Fairtrade is currently reviewing its Standards for bananas, coffee and cocoa underscoring solutions that contribute to achieving living wages and living incomes. Read our Living Income Progress Report here.
