Fairtrade America and Fairtrade Canada have partnered to celebrate the Fairtrade movement across both countries and close the gap between American shoppers and Fairtrade farmers and workers around the world through our, ‘We Are Fairtrade’ campaign.
How we're celebrating
On October 1st, we’re launching the ‘We Are Fairtrade’ Campaign across the US and Canada. With public art, in-store activations and digital storytelling, we hope to increase overall awareness and support for Fairtrade certified products. And remind shoppers that together, We Are Fairtrade.

Building on the murals we commissioned in 2020, 2021 and 2022, we are collaborating with local artists, retailers and Fairtrade brands to weave Fairtrade into the lives of consumers through public art that tells the stories of individual Fairtrade farmers.

We will also be sharing the murals online with a unique and appealing social campaign alongside influencer activations, Fairtrade educational content, and giveaways of certified products, all hosted at WeAreFairtrade.org. Point your followers there for our Fairtrade Month celebrations!

We're offering in-store promotional materials for retailers across the US and Canada to meet shoppers where they are and highlight how their purchases of certified Fairtrade products make a difference for people around the world. Feel free to share with your retail contacts!
